Audio Speakers and Much More …

Home Theater Speakers

Home theater speakers will enhance the surround sound audio experience.

Home theater speakers, whether wall, ceiling or cabinet speakers, or indeed a combination of all three, will enhance the surround sound audio experience delivered by any TV or home entertainment system, producing superb stereo and center channel sound reproduction.

A home theater speaker system provides for better sound quality than side by side speakers. Being spaced apart, mounted on or in-wall or ceiling, surround speakers sound as if a cinema sound system has been duplicated in your home.

It is imperative that the speakers are mounted correctly; although standard wall mounted speakers are pivoting and turning, so an optimum position can be set. With an in-wall or in-ceiling speaker system, it is an entirely different situation altogether. Because the speakers cannot be physically moved from their preset position, surveying the room is vitally important.

The position of large furniture pieces or placing the surround sound speakers to close to the corners of the room can result in bounce back and reflected signal noise, certainly enough to cause interference when listening to audio from the TV, DVD or music CD.

These wonders are available in many different colors and sizes, styles and shapes to complement and blend in with one’s current style of decor. There are wall mount stereo and center channel speakers available to suit all budgets, decor style and also, importantly, all home theater systems.

For home theater speakers, wall or ceiling mounted, it is probably better to have a wireless speaker system, then there is no work needed to be carried out to channel in cables and render over them after, or indeed have unsightly cables trailing down the wall or around the potted plants; especially if you have a cat that loves to climb.

A home theater speaker system will recreate the big sound of the cinema, bringing those DVDs to life, especially if you have one of the new blu-ray players, as well as giving a new, unprecedented clarity to the music from your own CD collection.

If you prefer to have a set of home theater speakers, not to be wall mounted, but free standing, this would give one the opportunity of having the TV and speakers out in the open air, great for the summer when you can have the mates around for a football game or other sporting event, and perhaps partake of a few beers (sorry, medicinal coffees). Satellite speakers would make a good addition to this setup as well. Also, consider Definitive Technology and their procinema series.

The point is that having freestanding speakers make the whole home theater experience a lot more flexible, however the choice is entirely yours. Whatever the final choice, enhanced and improved audio and acoustic quality will be assured.

Going to the movies, whether a family affair, as a couple or with friends, is always an enjoyable evening out. Not having to travel further than your own living room or back yard to see a good movie has to be the icing on the cake.

Buying them used to be troublesome in the olden days but with the advent of easy setup guides which are full of scenarios that you can use to match your room’s setup with, you can get pretty much any pair you want. If you were to look at Amazon’s list of bestselling speakers (and honestly, what better way to research your purchase?) the Sony Bravia DAV-HDX589W 5.1-Channel Theater System, the Onkyo HT-S5300 7.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver/Speaker Package with iPhone/iPod dock and the advanced Bose Lifestyle V35 home entertainment system top the lists. If you want the complete audiophile experience and are willing to spend upwards of $5000, then the Klipsch Reference Series RF-83 Home Theater Speaker System in black is just what the doctor who moonlights as a opera conductor ordered!
